MHLS is a band that mixes experimental rock with old school visual-kei songs. Their first release could have easily been released in 1999 and still have fit in with the scene's en vouge bands. Their second release, Open the Door, has a much more experimental flavor though with carnival inserts, psychedelic guitar lines, and almost grind-core vocals. Interestingly enough, certain aspects of their music are reminiscent of Aliene Maφriage. Unfortunately, the band only released 5 songs in their career (excluding a song that is later remastered). Their last live DVD, though, contained 6 unreleased songs. However; the DVD was recorded in a home-made fashion, so the quality isn't phenomenal.
